ChemTech Consultancy Limited is a specialist consultancy firm formed in August of 2002. We aim to provide a quality personal service from highly experienced consultants to both public and private companies at a competitive cost. Our main areas of activity involve enabling customers to comply with their responsibilities encompassed in ACoP L8 ‘The control of legionella bacteria in water’. As always in risk management the process begins with a formal risk assessment. From this we outline remedial measures and a written control scheme which are designed to reduce and control the risk.

To assist our clients in their schemes ChemTech are able to:

a) Complete the formal risk assessment
b) Carry out remedial works on their behalf
c) Design and implement control schemes
d) Carry out cleaning and disinfection of tanks, calorifiers and showerheads
e) Carry out routine temperature and inspection monitoring programmes
f) Carry out microbiological monitoring programmes

In addition to Legionella control programmes we also carry out environmental monitoring and general water management on behalf of clients.

Operating from our base in Paisley we have our customer support team with field engineers carrying out both cleaning and disinfection and temperature monitoring activities.
